ELEY KISHIMOTO is pleased to offer a general studio assistant placement.
This is a practical placement where successful candidates will be helping to facilitate all ELEY KISHIMOTO activities, working with all members of the EK team across all departments. It is open to degree and pre-degree (foundation/gap year) students and can run at any time during year for a minimum of 4 weeks/1 month.

STUDIO ASSISTANT placement. 1-2 students at any one time.
MIN DURATION: 1 month/4 weeks
Full time (Monday-Friday 9.30am - 6pm)
Dates and duration are flexible depending on candidate and our requirements at any given time, and we will hold interviews as and when we have vacancies, but please feel free to send through speculative cv's as we will keep them on file until required.

Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, hard working, well mannered and reliable.
They will be versatile and able to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team. They should be dynamic in personality and able to work under instruction with EK team members at all levels.
They will have good drawing and presentation skills, and a basic knowledge of pattern cutting and garment construction/printing would be helpful, but not essential as we would provide guidance and training for all tasks undertaken. Strong organisiational skills and methodical mindset essential, administrative experience would be a benefit.
Moreover, they will be flexible and able to undertake any tasks required of them.
Please note that the placements are full time and unpaid, but travel expenses within central London will be reimbursed on a weekly basis.

ELEY KISHIMOTO traditionally have not taken on graduates as placement students due to financial difficulties it may cause, and also commitment to a set period of time.
Please take this into consideration before proceeding further with your application as we would require a fixed and definite commitment from accepted placements.

Successful applicants will be called to interview, but please note that a call to interview would not guarantee a placement.

Unfortunately we are unable to interview candidates immediately who hand deliver CV's without prior call to interview, and we would advise against this application method.

As we receive many applications and although we endeavor to respond to everyone, it is not always possible to reply to unsuccessful applications due to sheer volume.
